Katerina Vassou is a company that, like its eponymous creator, loves, respects and admires jewelry.
All her creations are made by hand and are very special and unique.
The result is handmade pieces, and then entire collections, that stand out because they involve the audacity to constantly try new materials, methods and techniques, but also because, at the same time, their forms and unexpected shapes, textures and styles go hand in hand with very human emotions and moods.
Katerina Vassou’s team came to us with a request for a custom site that is clean, simple and easy to use but at the same time emerges the uniqueness of the brand.
As far as design goes, we made sure the minimalism and clear colours made the photography and products stand out and be imposed. User experience was of great importance in the matter, as well as the effective problem-free customer service with useful tools that facilitate the management of the online store. Therefore we were called to pull all the data from the ERP system of the store and then be able to directly send all this content to our customer.
An e-shop’s product page is one of the most important factors for the best user experience, especially when it is focused on a pleasant and easy navigation and an effective sale.
In addition to the basic rules that we applied, we presented a listing page with inoculated “complete the look” sections among the products, where all the products of the same set are presented in a photo.
By clicking on that photo, there is a display of all the products where the user can buy them.
As far as the product page is concerned, the user is also able to see and buy more products of the same set or similar products, as we included a “more form this set” section in order to achieve the maximum possible cross-selling through each product page.
Since we mentioned the cross-selling strategy, we should point out that it is something we also contained in the Stories page, where the user is presented with small product lists while scrolling and reading an article.
All functions that lead the user easily and efficiently to an easy shopping experience work as well at the mobile version as they do on the desktop website.
